Define the scope before pricing
Your tender should identify hot and cold water distribution, sanitaryware connections, heating and hot-water systems, gas work where specified, and the testing and handover requirements. We will review what is included, exclusions and interfaces with other trades before agreeing the scope. The quotation identifies the systems and responsibilities included in the package.
Coordinate first fix, second fix and completion
Share your plot-release dates, first- and second-fix sequence, access arrangements and completion milestones. Agree who is responsible for materials, storage, temporary services, builder’s work and design information. Changes to house types or specifications need to be reflected in the programme and pricing.
Testing, commissioning and handover
Define the required test records, commissioning information, certification and handover documents at tender stage. Agree the sign-off process, outstanding-work reporting and responsibility for aftercare. Gas work must match the relevant registration categories; ask us for current supporting documentation for your specified work.
