Commercial & Industrial CCTV Monitoring

Remote CCTV monitoring for commercial and industrial sites, with coverage, event verification, notifications and response arrangements agreed for your premises.

Request a monitoring assessment

Start with the risks and operating hours

Warehouses, manufacturing facilities, yards and commercial premises have different security requirements. Tell us what needs protecting, when the site is occupied and what should happen outside working hours. The monitoring proposal should connect camera coverage with an agreed response process.

From an event to an agreed response

Define which CCTV or alarm events are included, how they are verified and who receives a notification. Agree primary and backup contacts, keyholder arrangements and escalation if a contact cannot be reached. The quotation should identify the monitoring provider, MCN’s responsibilities and any response delivered by another party.

Confirm the monitoring hours and service boundary

Discuss 24/7 or specified out-of-hours requirements. Continuous recording, event-triggered monitoring and continuous human observation are different arrangements. Your proposal must state which applies, the included events and any exclusions. Monitoring does not guarantee incident prevention or emergency-service attendance.

Have cameras already installed?

Provide the camera and recorder makes and models, available network information and current maintenance arrangements. Existing systems need an assessment of compatibility, image quality, event configuration and connectivity before suitability for remote monitoring can be confirmed. Do not send passwords or access codes with an initial enquiry.

Installation, connectivity and ongoing support

Agree who provides camera installation or upgrades, the internet connection, maintenance, fault reporting and testing. Changes to camera views, site layout, operating hours or keyholders should be communicated through the agreed process so monitoring information stays useful.

What affects monitoring costs?

The scope depends on the premises, camera and event requirements, operating hours, existing-system condition, connectivity, response arrangements and any installation or maintenance work. Request a site-specific proposal that separates setup costs, recurring monitoring charges and additional services.

Before you enquire

Is remote monitoring the same as recording CCTV footage?

No. Recording stores footage for review. A monitoring service adds an agreed process for receiving and assessing specified events and notifying the appropriate contacts or response provider.

Can you take over an existing CCTV system?

Tell us what is installed. Suitability and any required changes depend on the system assessment; compatibility cannot be confirmed from a general enquiry alone.

Do you offer security for high-value homes?

Yes. Owners of residential properties valued above £1 million can enquire directly, as can their architects, developers and representatives. Use our high-end residential security page for that route.
